Arclight error: "Importmap skipped missing path.."

Hello all:

 For some reason, not all of my Blacklight .js files are importing into ArcLight...

I think that this is because they were installed to a different directory...

(They were installed to the ....asdf/ directory instead of /vendor directory, for some reason..)

Has anybody seen this issue?

I've been reading about how to use import maps, but I haven't been able to fix this issue.

Can anyone please give me a hint how to include the path and files so that they are loading into the arc-light app?

Update: I got it somehow working with config.assets.compile = true # default: false. But this should only be a temporary solution, because as stated in guides.rubyonrails.org/asset_pipeline.html "This mode uses more memory, performs more poorly than the default, and is not recommended.". I hate it, that this somehow happens to/with RoR all the time: discuss.rubyonrails.org/t/… – Jens

(Also, even though the Blacklight js is loading, it seems to be missing some functionality. Although I’m not sure because I don’t know how Arclight should function completely. Can anyone point to a tutorial video that describes the functionality of Arclight 1.0? (Also, the menu button doesn’t work when in mobile view) Thanks. (https://arclight.saintpeters.edu)

Hi Scott, 

There isn't a video tutorial of the most recent release of ArcLight v1, but Stanford Libraries is running v1 for our demo environment and I'd be happy to walk you through it on a video call. You could also check out our ArcLight website, which includes a list of all active implementations to date.
