Hello! My name is Alec Ari, I go by the alias "NTU" which stands for
Neo_The_User (my former PSP and Playstation 3 hacker alias) and I
really want to get down and dirty with Arch Mobile as my father has
interest in using a pico-SAM9G45 board for a printer project. I don't
know that much about the project itself, but it is business work.

More info about the device itself may be found here:

Moving on to about me... I'm not quite sure what you want to know but
I'm turning 18 in March, I've been working with GNU/Linux based
machines for about 3 maybe 4 years, I'm not too much of a low-level
programmer, even though I somehow keep getting involved in hardware
related software projects.

I am proficient in bash and shell script, and I'm still trying to
learn C. I have quite a lot of experience with PKGBUILDs and would
love to use my knowledge to help keep Arch Mobile alive and moving.

I've been very satisfied with Arch Linux x86, but Arch Mobile seems to
be lacking some of the things Arch Linux has, and some features of
which will be required to be included for the business project I am
working on. Some of these features include a single image to be
flashed onto the final device (which I already started on and is
progressing very nicely) and additional and updated packages will be
required as well.

I plan on doing development with Arch Mobile as a hobby as well, and
not just for business, so after the printer project is finished, I
will still make a contributing effort toward the work of Arch Mobile.

I would really like to be a package maintainer so I could host updated
packages and such to the server, and share my changes with the world,
for the sake of Arch Mobile. Helping out Arch Mobile would really be a
blessing for me personally, as it is something that I can work on with
my current knowledge, and I can contribute to.

My main goal of being an Arch Mobile package maintainer would be to
improve on Arch Mobile, rather than rolling my own ARM-based Linux
distribution from scratch. This way I can help both myself, and the
Arch Mobile project at the same time.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Alec Ari

Hey guys! It's been awhile since I posted and I know everybody jumped
in shortly after Nazral posted here, so I just want to know if you
guys want me in the Arch Mobile project or not. If you need more
details about me or anything, let me know! :)

Hello NTU

Of course we want you! Didn't I tell you that when you write to our
ML, you can see yourself as a member of ArchMobile already?

Anyway, you are one ;)

Greetings - naeg
