What architecture? x86_64? I will investigate in it and report back.
The version in AUR should work correctly by default, because after updating it I push it to AUR. The binary packages are added after that, so probably I missed something.
Thanks, regards,

I can confirm that my repository was not fully updated.
Anyways, I fixed (hopefully forever) the issue.
ATM, in the repo you should be able to find packages for grass-6.4.2
pkgrel 2 for both i686 and x86_64. PKGBUILDs inside the github repo
and AUR should be fine, though.
If you are lucky to have an x86_64 machine, you can get a free package
for gdal-grass. I have some problems in building i686 packages inside
chroot which involves a non-standard repo (which is [archlinuxgis]). I
will investigate before continuing in the development of GRASS and
gdal-grass PKGBUILD.
Thanks, regards,
