Hello,
sorry for my doubts. I tried modifying the aur PKGBUILD for qgis 2.10 and it worked on an updated archlinux without any modification besides the version.
Is there some development on github or something of the like?

Unfortunately development has stopped, I don't have time anymore to
follow the build and the maintenance of the packages and plus I don't
use anymore Archlinux. The repo is hosted now on my site, but this is
steady from a year or so.
So if you volunteer, I will be more than happy to pass you all the stuff.
