有交代sendmail的『安裝』，看起來蠻複雜的，而且也以失敗收場。

我沒用過 sendmail ，但根據 Wiki 顯示 sendmail 在 AUR 裡，你可以手動安裝、或使用 AUR Helper 來幫助你安裝 AUR 上的東西。

AUR Helper 也都是在 AUR 中，為了使用 AUR 中的 Package ，無論如何你至少會手動裝過一次。

以下提供 AUR Helper 之一的 aurman 頁面資訊與手動方式給你當作練習參考

1. 根據 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/aurman 得到 Git Clone URL https://aur.archlinux.org/aurman.git
2. 依序輸入以下指令
   

   git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/aurman.git 
   

   cd aurman
   

   makepkg -si 
   

至此應已順利安裝 aurman ，你可以簡單使用 aurman 一次安裝 https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/sendmail 提到所需安裝的項目，指令如下

aurman -S sendmail procmail m4

或許你不想透過 AUR Helper 安裝 procmail ，但手動安裝過程應與 aurman 類似

1. 根據 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/sendmail 得到 Git Clone URL https://aur.archlinux.org/sendmail.git
2. 依序輸入以下指令
   

   git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/sendmail.git
   cd sendmail
   makepkg -si
   

procmail 以及 m4 是透過 pacman 即可順利安裝的，所以可以使用以下指令

pacman -S procmail m4
