to Archives and Linked Data Interest Group

Hi all:

We will be meeting on Tuesday, September 17.  The agenda includes a tutorial of Wikidata, particularly information on engaging with the Wikidata community so we might be more effective in supporting the work of our Wikidata subgroup that Ruth is forming.  Huge thanks to Dominic, NARA’s Wikipedian in residence for leading this.

Agenda and call information here:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tcoiEfRvqopk0Fs3pFPqckSfrsUh6fw3trWx7kw4Cb4/edit

And just a reminder that everyone who is interested in archives and linked data are free to join us, even if you haven’t participated before.  We are a very informal group undertaking a grass-roots effort to improve linked data networks for archives AND foster knowledge of linked data among archivists.

Best,

Elizabeth
