Kia ora koutou / Dear all,

There’s only two weeks left to take advantage of early bird registration rates for iPRES 2025, the 21st International Conference on Digital Preservation!

2025 marks the first-ever iPRES held in Aotearoa New Zealand, and only the second time in the southern hemisphere, so don’t miss your chance to participate in this significant global gathering, wherever you are in the world! Join us in-person at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, or register as a virtual attendee and experience our online programming.

Register now to secure your place and benefit from the early bird rate. For more details about registration, please visit our website

iPRES offers invaluable opportunities to learn and connect over all things digital preservation! This year’s iPRES programme features seven parallel tracks with something for everyone, whether you’re brand new to digital preservation or deep into the journey.

Learn more about the programme here: https://www.ipres2025.nz/post/introducing-the-ipres-programme.

iPRES 2025 is being hosted by Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa National Library of New Zealand and Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga Archives New Zealand in Wellington from 3-7 November 2025.  The Wellington Local Organising Committee has worked incredibly hard to make the conference as affordable as possible, with a variety of registration options, including day passes, student rates, and virtual options.

But don’t wait – early bird rates are only available until 1 September!

Mark your calendars from 3-7 November and get ready to join us for an unforgettable experience at iPRES 2025! We look forward to hosting you in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington and online later this year.

Ngā manaakitanga / Best wishes,
The iPRES 2025 Programme and Local Organising Committees
