502 Bad Gateway for Archivematica v1.13.2 Storage Service

Hi all,

I installed a clean Archivematica v1.13.2 on a clean Ubuntu 18.04.6 server instance following the instructions for manually installing over here to the letter: https://www.archivematica.org/en/docs/archivematica-1.13/admin-manual/installation-setup/installation/install-ubuntu/#install-pkg-ubuntu.

Everything went smoothly until I tried to access the Storage Service. While doing that I got a "502 Bad Gateway" error in my browser. When I tried to proceed creating the superuser as indicated in the instructions, I got a huge error message of which the last line was: "django.db.utils.OperationalError: (1044, "Access denied for user 'archivematica'@'localhost' to database 'SS'")."

Any help solving this would be appreciated.

P.S.: the dashboard is accessible.

Hi Roger,

No, that port is open on the server.

In the meantime I did some more tests: I ran a new install, using the new storage service obviously, but I got the same error. Then I ran a new install on another machine,  again exactly following the manual instructions, but also with the same result.

Finally I ran a new install on those machines following the manual instructions for the v1.12.x Archivematica version and that worked like a charm (as before). So I suspect there is something wrong or missing in the manual instructions for the v1.13.x Archivematica version and I know the Archivematica team is used to copy/paste a lot when coming up with new version documentation, so this wouldn't surprise me.
