Hello,

We've recently reinstalled Archivematica and I'm in the process of configuring the storage service. I have a few questions:

Regarding pipelines in the documentation it states that a pipeline represents a single installation of an Archivematica dashboard. In our previous installation we had three distinct pipelines. How does one access each of the individual pipelines? If I access the Archivematica dashboard via the web browser I'm unclear which pipeline I am accessing.

I am also trying to understand how our storage service was structured in our previous installation. Thus far, I've copied settings from the previous install into our upgraded install. I would like to delete our storage configurations and start over; however, I'm encountering errors that state a particular Location cannot be deleted until a particular pipeline is also deleted or unassociated. If I try to delete the Pipeline I receive an error stating that the Location needs to be deleted or unassociated. I don't see how to solve this issue in the dashboard as the errors seem circular.

Thanks for any assistance.

Best,

Hey Tracy,

I was wondering if you ever received an answer to your first question. We are tryting to set up our installation to work in the same way with multiple pipelines, but cannot figure out how to access each from the dashboard.

Let me know!

HI John,

I didn’t get a definitive answer, but it seems that each dashboard needs to be configured in a way that allows it to have an individual IP address or URL. That was the best that I could surmise!

Cheers,

Tracy

That's my understanding as well. We have multiple pipelines, each accessible via their own DNS and dashboard without a shared dashboard.
