Multiple lanaguage support for importing?

Good morning all, I tried to see if I could find anything on the matter but the documentation has not been clear.  Does anyone know if the dc.language field in the metadata.csv file allow you to set in multiple languages and if so what would be the format that would work best? 

Example: English and French vs. eng, fre

I want to say the latter using the ISO codes would be the ideal but haven't seen anyone with an example to confirm this.  Looking for some guidance to adhere to common use cases.  Thanks.

Hi Patrick,

The dc.language field in the metadata.csv will be free text for you to implement how you choose. There are guidelines on how to use it in Dublin Core (4.15 Language section): https://www.dublincore.org/specifications/dublin-core/usageguide/elements/ 

You can use ISO codes, but there are examples of other ways of using the element. I hope this helps!
