   Hi all,

What are the current instructions for translating Archivematica?

We have been trying both Weblate and Transifex, but we saw that they were not recommended.

Also, a tutorial for .po files, but that would only be on a local installation.

Is a PR submission possible via GitHub?

   Thankful.

Hello Ricardo,

Thank you for your question and for re-posting it, I had been meaning to get a response off to you.

We're unfortunately not in a position at this moment to accept translations to the project but we hope to be in the future. In the meantime, we do have some instructions that might help you translate your local instance of Archivematica: https://gist.github.com/sevein/7a58080779ea1318bbfe65040a5b4ca3 . Hopefully this helps you in the interim until we have a standard translation workflow in place for Archivematica.

Cheers,

Sarah
