Documentum / Archivematica Workflows

Hi everyone,

I am not sure if this has been discussed in here before - so apologies if I am rehashing an old topic.

I realize I am leaving this question pretty open but ...

I am curious if anyone has a workflow in place that incorporates Documentum (on the electronic records management side of things) and Archivematica?

Any insight or experiences (positive or negative) would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John,

To our knowledge there is no existing workflow that integrates Documentum and Archivematica.  However, in the UK, the University of Glasgow has recently joined the Jisc Research Data Shared Service (RDSS) project as a pilot institution testing workflows to see how to pull files out of Documentum and use the Jisc-created RDSS message broker to serve up the exported files to Archivematica.  Stay tuned!
