Hi folks,

Scott Renton from University of Edinburgh, running Archivematica v.1.12 here.

Our MCP-Server process has been dropping as below within a couple of minutes of restarting this morning, and resultantly we can't populate the dashboard ("Error trying to connect to MCP server. Trying again... "). I wondered if anyone could advise on checks as to how to fix this- I'm pretty new to Archivematica, so might need a bit of guidance as to database access. I've rebooted the server to go for a fresh start, but to no avail.

I've tried restarting all microservices in the agreed order (server, client, dashboard, storage service, clamscan), but it is going down. Not seen this before!

Thanks
Scott

Update- we seem to be connecting, even though I can't see an MCP Server python process running on the VM. Perhaps I've overstated/misunderstood the issue!

Cheers
Scott
