Inquiring for Ark Alliance Intergration information

Good morning.  I am doing some research to see if I can add archivematica into our existing workflow.  I noticed that there is a Handle server config to made PIDs, would this be the same way to use ark alliance information or is there another way to connect these sources together?  

If someone can point me to documentation about this so that I can test this out would be great.  Thanks for reading and hope to hear back from you soon.
