Hi there,
We've encountered a situation whereby we need to delete several individual files that are stored within an AIP and being sent through as a DIP in AtoM. It's easy enough to suppress the display of the object in AtoM, but given that the files are being deaccessioned, we feel the need to purge it entirely from the original AIP. My thinking is that we will need to export the AIP, remove the relevant files, and re-ingest the AIP. This will result in us needing to re-do some of the descriptions on the AtoM side, which is less than ideal. I'm curious if others have encountered the need to deaccession certain files stored within an AIP and how you may have handled this.
Thanks in advance for any insight that anyone might have,
