Sir,

I installed Archivematica Alpha 0.7.1 according to the instructions
found on "http://archivematica.org/wiki/index.php?title=Install-0.7.1-
alpha".

Copying the "ImagesSIP" directory to the "receiveSIP", started the SIP
process in Archivematica. The SIP and AIP processing went fine,
however, I got a "failed" status for the DIP Upload. I put print
statements in the "upload-qubit.py" program to see what email and
password value were used to login the “qubit” DB. See below. It
appears that Archivematica is by default sending the
email=”d...@example.com” and password=”demo” to “upload-qubit.py”
which gives an error. See below.

QUESTION #1:
So, the first time I executed http:/localhost/ica-atom/index.php after
the Archivematica installation, I was redirected to the link which
asked me to create the ICA-ATOM DB. In the future, should I respond
with “d...@example.com” as the username and “demo” as the password, so
there is a match between what Archivematica sends to “upload-qubit.py”
and “upload-qubit.py” uses to login into the “qubit” DB.

QUESTION #2:
How do I change the “email” and “demo” values Archivematica is
sending to “upload-qubit.py” to be used to login into the “qubit” DB
to upload the AIP to be a DIP? Is the “email” and “demo” values hard
coded or are they requested during the Archivematica installation.

PRINT STATEMENTS FROM ‘UPLOAD-QUBIT.PY”:

Exactly. However, if you set a different login, you always can go to ICA-AtoM and add a new user using the same username/password. There is a wiki page in the ICA-AtoM web site which describes the user account management: http://ica-atom.org/doc/Manage_user_accounts.

The file that you are looking for is MCPServer/etc/mcpModulesConfig/Upload%20DIP.xml

This error message is captured from the ICA-AtoM response. Check that the login information is correct. Ah, don't forget that Archivematica only works with ICA-AtoM 1.0.9, but this will change soon.

Thank you for your fast response and kind assistance.

I will follow your instructions and try to re-access the “qubit” DB.
