Hello,
I'm trying to do a Zipped Bag(BagIt) transfer using metadata.JSON instead of a CSV file. The transfer process and Ingest have done normally but looks like the Archivematica doesn't recognize the metadata.JSON file as I saw in METS.In the annex, it's the transfer package (07214360420208070001.zip) and his METS. I'm using Archivematica-1.9.2, Ubuntu and this zipped bag has 4.4MB size.

Hello Henrique,

I think we've only tested this with metadata.csv but you might try adjusting your json file to follow the same pattern described here: https://www.archivematica.org/en/docs/archivematica-1.12/user-manual/transfer/import-metadata/#metadata-bags

Basically, because of the point in which Archivematica is matching up the objects with the metadata, you want to use 'data' instead of 'objects' in the path.

Let us know how that goes!

Cheers,

Sarah

Hi Sarah, I`m doing it with Henrique. Thank you to help us.

I updated my Archivematica to 1.12, but the problem persists.
I tested send some metadatas with CSV file and it worked (bagit format), I needed only to edit filename in CSV to 'data/objects/*file*'. But when I send the same package with JSON, the archviematica don't catch dublin core in METS.
I send the metadata.json file with only DC info, but not worked.
I send the some file (metadata.json) without bagit format and it worked.

In the annex, it's the transfer package  with json file.
dc-only1... = only dc info
75bagJson.... = all metadata info

75bagJson-9a4b2127-efd2-4803-b5da-bf813f15af6e (1).7z
dc-only1-8711ae92-9156-4eca-86e7-9b7ec12a0af1.7z

My apologies, I didn't mean to let this response sit in my inbox for a week!

I would expect the json metadata to be treated the same as the CSV so this sounds like a bug. Would you be able to file an issue in our Github repository? https://github.com/archivematica/Issues/issues

Any new about this bug? Is there any issue I can follow?
