Hi,
What happened to the Archivematica 1.6.0 Ubuntu packages? It looks like they should be here:
However, I only see 1.6.1 packages. For 1.6.0, there are only files with the extensions ".dsc" and ".tar.xz". I tried to build those using apt-get's commands for handling source packages but wasn't successful.
I know that 1.6.1 is the official stable release, but I'm finding that there are a few differences between 1.6.1 installed via upgrade and 1.6.1 installed as new, and I'm trying to figure out if upgrading to 1.6.0 before upgrading to 1.6.1 helps resolve them.[1]
The most obvious difference is that when you check the version information on the dashboard, it shows an Agent code of "Archivematica-1.6.1" for a new installation and "Archivematica-1.6.0" for an upgrade.[1]
There are also some problems with dependencies when upgrading, most of which seem to be related to ffmpeg and its dependencies. Given that "york" is present in a number of affected package names, I wonder if some of these packages were originally built for a particular environment.
[1] Note that these issues are present even when I do a clean install that starts at 1.5.1, so I don't think these issues are particular to my main local installation of Archivematica, which started at 1.3.
