Thank you for this information. I work with young adults with
co-occurring disorders. For some of them, I have always wondered
whether the substance abuse part of their disorder might not have
happened if they had gotten earlier treatment for mental health
issues. I know this will not be a panacea, but I think this is a move
in the right direction, as long as states really implement evidence
based interventions, which appears to be required when I read the link
to "guidance" in the blog.
