A new TIP (Treatment Improvement Protocol series) is now available
from the SAMHSA store:

Description:
Assists behavioral health professionals in understanding the impact
and consequences for those who experience trauma. Discusses patient
assessment, treatment planning strategies that support recovery, and
building a trauma-informed care workforce.

Dear list,

You can respond off-list to this.....Is there *any* difference between trauma-informed care for a patient with a substance use disorder and trauma-informed care for a patient with a mental illness? Is there anything specific to SUDs?
