Thread for anyone who wants submit items for topics of discussion at the summit. Not a thread for actually discussing any of these things, just a thread for noting that these are things we're going to want to talk about. I've got a couple of things to start with.

1) Excom restructure/succession planning

2) Formation of conduct committee

3) Camping in the forest

4) Volunteer management/succession planning

What else?

I'd like to talk about site layout and town planning which would also cover camping in the forest.

I also have a rather sensitive topic that I would like to talk about, not sure what that would be called for the agenda but would like time scheduled for it.

Other items I would like to see on the agenda are:
- Dates of the event
- Ticket numbers
- Communication between volunteers
- Media
- Site management

do we want to talk about giving some recognition to hard working volunteers in the form of Free / reduced price tickets, payment of expenses or paying honorariums  ?

Would like to discuss:
- info sharing between regionals
- media regarding our affiliations
- relating to Bens points on structure, would love more defined descriptions of Excom/admin/ops roles (to see if we can ease work loads/allocate acitivites/open more specific volunteer positions).

I'm now adding guidelines for events that wish to be associated with KB. i.e. Decomps and the like.

I'd like us to discuss a code of conduct for ExCom and organizational teams that include guidelines for acceptable and best practise behavior and internal and external communications.

Could we please add setting up a proposed Burner Art Exchange programme with Lakes of Fire (Michigan Regional event).

I could also do a brief summary of my time at the GLC.

it would also be great to encourage an official Teams leads exchange program with some of the other regionals in Australia, this are the details from SOAK

The SOAK Regional Leads Exchange is in its third year. Our goals are:
  1. Build rapport between SOAK and other regionals
  2. Develop a network of regional event producers, coordinators and Leads who can support each other year-round on digital channels
  3. Specifically focus on teaching and learning at the department level, to facilitate growth in our leaders as well as our events
Here's how the Exchange works:
  1. Current Leads with a recommendation from the Producer qualify for free tickets. We require producer-to-producer dialogue to approve a Lead and match them with the right department.
  2. Leads need to work a minimum of 12 hours supporting the departments to which they are assigned, in whatever capacity is helpful to the host event. They will observe how we do things, share how their event does things, and be generally awesome.
  3. Within 30 days after the event, all participating Leads owe Producers of the host event a 'what we learned' one-pager about the experience.
In the past 2 years, we've received and sent leadership for Gate, Rangers and Producers. This year alone we'll have visitors for DPW, Fire Safety and Medical and are sending out DPW, Producers, and more.

Have we got money for theme camps on the agenda? I recall a discussion about it as some stage. Don't know if it's in the budget but can we talk it through at summit?

Can we please ensure there is time set aside to discuss the various crew reports. I.e. Traffic, greeters, gate, rangers etc.

I would like people to think about a borrowed idea I have thrown up on FB for comment, that each day from dawn to 10am we ask sound camps to reduce the volume (especially the bass) so participants can have some time for their bodies and minds to reset and refresh.....

I would like to propose a survey/questionnaire for the theme camps. Unless something already exists.
