8 Weeks Out! Stress and Affirmations

As of this morning, we're a mere 8 weeks out from Gates opening to general ticket holders and the much anticipated (official) start of Kiwiburn 2021. 

Scary stuff, hey? 

You're allowed to find this time scary and hard, stressful and intense - trust me we all do. So, let's do a group activity. On the count of 3 we'll all scream out stress away.

Ahhh, refreshing. 

I just want to let you know that you're doing fantastically. It's normally to feel like nothing is organised, or as if things are imploding this close to a major event that we've all been working so hard on. 

If you need any help, or want to talk a situation through I strongly encourage you to contact your Facilitators (that's what they're there for!) or if you're not comfortable with that, our crew assistance program is starting to get on it's feet and my inbox is open for you at any time. 

Again, you're doing really well. We're doing really well. So let me share a little update about where things are at - 

Every team has people engaged and working together to bring about an epic event. Our theme camps are amped, our artists are creating, hell - Temple is even partially built!

Our H&S documents are in the best, most comprehensive condition they've ever been in. Our Comms team is educating all of our community about our awesome COVID Plans and helping to fill the remaining crew spots. 

Our Services and onsite Safety crews are all getting prepped and trained up this month!
Our Town Planners are so close to providing the first full draft of a site map. 

Our onsite Build Crews are in the final stages of coming together. 

Seriously - we've got this. You've got this. We're just 8 weeks out and things are looking great. Keep the course. We will make the magic happen, bring our whaunu together, and burn some epic artwork. 

Can't wait to see you all onsite. But remember to take some rest beforehand - focus on thriving rather than surviving.
