Gidday team

A few weeks ago I volunteered to pull the agenda together for the upcoming Summit.  The only way of doing this is to shotgun you all and ask for your pressing agenda items please . As a start I have pulled together items from last year, and added/edited according to some of my thoughts. Please edit and add, and send to me...and the sooner the better. We are under a month away from the Summit timing.

Thanks and cheers from Dunners
Mark
ps there is also the Afterburn report to address....those of you with writing responsibilities....

Thanks, Mark.
This list looks comprehensive! The only thing I can think to add is Site Contract Negotiations...

Hi,

These aren't to be added, as you can see there is crossover already. This is the agenda as it has already been developed on Asana - sorry Mark, I thought you'd already seen this.

1. Tree incident and Duty Holder Report
2. Ticketing process
3. Afterburn summary from each Dept
4. Grants
5. Media
6.Excom structure and processes
7. Kiwiburn conference
8. Land contract renewal
9. Strategic planning.

I'd like to add under strategic planning, create a volunteer recruiting and retention plan.

I spent a day at Foo talking with team building and scaling experts on this and have some ideas on how we might take a more deliberate approach to this.

This agenda stuff looks good to me. Are we going to do a quick run through every department's afterburn reflections?

Wendy, RE good for Summit, did you mean to use my Kiwiburn card? I guess I should ask finance to put the depot good money on there. Should I also organise beverages?

The idea was we did a summary rather than details of Afterburn report stuff, maybe highlight issues for further discussion. We don't have as much time this year and we have some big stuff to get through.

Probably Lt best if Karl or Brandan answers the card question, but I've always been told to use mine where possible because it's simpler.

Can we add early entry policy and implementation to the agenda?

Thanks. I will be compiling the list at the weekend after everyone has had a good chance to provide feedback.

    3. Excom structure and processes

    4.  Kiwiburn conference

No more bites after a week of sitting round. Is this all good to go as our agenda? Summit is in just over one week, so probably best to finalise.
Let me know if you think of anything else.

ps Ill be flying up Friday night and will be at Rathmoy by about 8-9pm. Am staying on Monday Tuesday at my old work in Lower Hutt, so my airline costs will be covered by other sources.

I'd like to discuss tax strategy, maybe under 'strategic planning'. Essentially I'd like to make a case that it's in our best interests to pay as much income tax as possible (shocking I know - and it's not because I'm secretly a lizard-person imposter advocating for the tax man either).

Otherwise agenda looks all good to me. Thanks.

Thanks for this. I will finalise. Would you folk like me to print it copies or shall I just write them up on the white board like last year?

    Greetings folks.
Here is the final version of our agenda for the Kiwiburn summit. This will be written up on the whiteboard tonight when I arrive, so no need to make a copy. Its just a FYI ahead of time.
    Looking forward to it.
