Hey William - I’ve  just turned this into a public thread a head of a couple questions whilst we shuffle the org chart. Sounds like this Team can function as an email alias under the Infrastructure Teams shared email account.

Holly - Crew Support Team currently falls under the Crew department. I’m guessing that we want to separate this from the On-site Crew Support role, did you guys have different names that you could use for the two Teams?

FYI I can send the Team Welcome email once the Team name (and the email address/alias) is confirmed. I believe the Volunteer Team will head the admin onboarding from there.

Meet Michelle Jutzi, our first onsite Crew support person! Michelle Is a yoga teacher and I understand has a bit of a naturopathic background as well, which we believe is a good skills package and approach to crew physical care.

You can arrange a direct catch up with Michelle to discuss expectations/needs but I think we're probably better waiting until we have a lead and full team.

- Nan/Angela fyi this probably means an extra Marquee (or tent or whatever those large open shelters are called) in the Laydown area.  Please coordinate with the crew support email when it's set up.

Although there is no lead yet, I have suggested to Michelle to start thinking (and recording on the drive - guidelines document created for this purpose)

how she thinks the team can achieve their role and how we can support them doing so (infrastructure and budget). Everyone feel free to jump in the document and write down your thoughts in there - this document will be formatted for handover purposes in the future. Each and every team has one of those and I'm expecting it to be a bit more in depth / role specific than the afterburn team section report.

Hey Holly and William - Just following up on the 2 Crew Support names that we have for Teams since Crew Support currently falls under the Crew Department on our org chart. Webmsater has already moved the alias over to the Infrastructure Teams shared email account. Did we have a different name for the year round former Crew Support concept?

Holly and the team have adopted the "crew assistance" name in opposition to on site "crew support" under infrastructure. We said next year to change names.. but with the confusion already going on, more than happy to change crew support to something else. Care Bears was very cute, but not very corporate lol. Something in the middle? Help, I haven't been brought on board for my creative skills..

coz "Care Bears" had been snapped for Crew Assistance (see below) ! But then I heard talking about "Fairy Goodhumans"? If Care Bears is still available I'll take it. If not Volunteer Care will do the job.

Soooooo we have actually already done this admin situation (sorry I didn't cc you in). Crew Support is now sitting under infrastructure and their email alias is all set up. Crew Assistance (aka Care Bears) have been set up in their own inbox with their own alias'.

We should probably change the names next year though coz they're pretty confusing......
