Centre Camp Lead

Kia Ora all.

I'd like to welcome Kane as our new Centre Camp lead. He's got event management experience and will do a great job of making Centre Camp the community hub it should be. He also has a 2IC, Eddy, ready and willing to support him in the role. They'll be operating out of Centr...@kiwiburn.com

We caught up the other day and discussed the role, what he would like to bring to it and what we'll need. Some great ideas came up!

The structure will be a large marquee in 2020. They'll be able to borrow a projector and sound system to set up (and have movie nights on the roof!). The space will be open to community events but also have some planned activities. There will be some comfy space, a drinks station (tea/water).  

Community Engagement Events

-Opening Potluck on Weds or Thurs 

-Town Hall Meeting (To be renamed?- ExCom and Event Manager to decide on time and representatives able to attend)

-Jam sessions 

-Art Quest (Treasure hunt style)

-Movie nights
