Binary package hint: ubiquity
Trying to install 10.10. Have verified md5 sums. It gets 3/4 of the way
through, and then crashes. I'm getting tired of having to then re-
install my stupid old Mandrivel 2010 so I can have a working system. I
managed to save the logs to a USB drive, and am attaching them, I hope.
Looks like your form only allows one attachment? We'll see.

Here is my disk layout. I'm formatting sda 7 & 8 during install.
Filesystem Size Now Install
/dev/sda1 595M / -
/dev/sda6 38M /boot -
/dev/sda7 7.7G /usr /
/dev/sda8 1.8G /var /var
/dev/sda9 7.9G /usr/local /usr/local
/dev/sda10 56G /home /home
Is my attempt to maintain sda9 causing troubles? Guess I could just
leave it out of the equation, then move whatever ubuntu puts in
/usr/local over to it after the install.
