I have been looking for a web host that offers a free tomcat server. I finally found one. I was able to upload Hudson to it. This was interesting too: I needed maven, which the server does not support, so I dropped maven into the Hudson war, and when the war was extracted, maven was extracted with it. I then used the Hudson scripting interface to figure out what directory Hudson was running from and figured out the path to maven. Awesome. Once hudson was setup, I registered a
hop.to redirect so the url is:
It's locked down - you need credentials to modify anything. Mykola, I setup an account for you. IM me for your password. I appreciate your running it on your localbox so that we could get build feedback. You can rss it from
http://hudson-architecturerules.hop.to/rssAll
Lets run it for a week or so, make sure it actually works, then we can update the pom attribute and I will add the details to the site. I will get this setup to send build messages to architecture-rules-activity at that time also.
The free host is
http://s43.eatj.com good idea to bookmark that for future reference.
