Hi Fellas.
I picked up
architecturerules.org last week. I put two resources under it.
First is a wordpress instance that will be used as a platform to promote the project. I have copied all of my posts form
72miles.com about the project over. I invite you all to post from it too. You can post about what you're working on on the project, how you use it (if you use it), anything about software architecture such as separation of concern or cyclic dependencies, or anything you have learned while working on the project. The URL is
http://blog.architecturerules.org/ I also have a page to introduce the developers at
http://blog.architecturerules.org/developers-and-contributors/ so eventually some day you'll need to tell me what about you you'd like me to put up there. Of course, if you have your own blog, you can link to it in your posts to promote yourself too. I have tried to enhance the tagging of the posts, and I need to figure out how I will categorize them. I think they are all currently noted as Uncategorized.
The second resource is an instance of mediawiki which will be the new platform for all documentation
http://wiki.architecturerules.org. I have began migrating the information over from
http://72miles.com/architecturerules. The wiki is currently wide open when it comes to permissions. I am hoping to get help from you and from the users. I have recieved issues in the past related to documentation errors. This way those users can just update the docs. If I need to make it secure I can, but I want to wait until I have a good reason first. SO if you wanna click though it and offer any ideas or advice please offer them up right here in this thread. I am particularly intersted in help with organizing the information in the most appropriate way.
I have not deprecated the old site yet. I need to get all the info up on the new one first. I figure that when 3.0 gets released (
http://blog.architecturerules.org/30-roadmap/) we can promote the new release and the new sites.
Thanks guys.
