Event: Design, High Speed Rail and the Future of St. Louis 6/28 7PM

NextSTL is pleased to bring the Van Alen Institute for Public Architecture to discuss the design and economic potential of High Speed Rail to reshape the future of St. Louis. Van Alen is holding events in every proposed HSR mega-region in the United States and they chose St. Louis within the Chicago mega-region.

This free event on June 28th 2011 from 7:00pm-8:30pm will be held at the Contemporary Art Museum in Grand Center. The evening will feature discussion among local and national panelists including Carol Colletta, the former CEO of CEO's for Cities and Petra Todorovich of the Regional Plan Association and the America 2050 initiative. In addition, winning entries from Van Alen's recent Life at the Speed of Rail competition will be displayed.
