AFH Meeting Notes - December 2011

Sorry for the delay on posting our meeting minutes.

Updates - Not much happening.
Exodus - possibly some more work days in January/February.

Our main topic was our AFH Happy Hour at Urban Chestnut to occur in a
couple of weeks!! We need assistance drafting up a PDF invite that we
can email out to members and interested parties. I need a volunteer to
quickly create an invite with UCBC and AFH logos. Ideally, these will
be posted in WASH U grad school and emailed out to individuals
participating in other similarly-aligned groups (AIA, IIDA, Engineers
W/O Borders, or any other group that could collaborate with AFH.)

For the New Year, we would like to have more work days on our own
projects or possibly by teaming up with other non-profit volunteer
groups in St. Louis. This Happy Hour would provide a good venue for us
to try to meet up with members of other such groups and discuss how
AFH can broaden our umbrella of projects.

If you've been waiting to actually get involved, this is the time! We
have a couple projects that should keep us busy in the first and
second quarters next year.
