Hello fellow cabinet makers,

I will get some photos up on facebook later, but here are a couple teasers to show the nearly finished cabinets.

Well ~ after a "few" hours of working the boards, we finished the first 12' unit!  It's attractive, simple and functional.  I think they are a good reflection of arctitect built lockers.

We had one woman eyeing them with a jealous eye.  She said, "who gets those?", as she was looking defeated with her allotment of a 2' x 4' locker.  When we told her that we are actually replacing all of them, she straigtened back up and her face shined.    :)

You know, for as much work as it is, we are virtually building 16 homes for families in transition.

Let's refresh, retool, reorginize and look back on this project with pride.

Rich has a few photos of the first unit, and he'll get them sent out sometime today.

Thanks to everyone who came out.  It was a treat working with you all.

Ok, back to life.

~Mike

I like the photo of Mike on top of the locker. It looks like it will hold up!

I will compile the pictures when I get a chance.  I'm expecting some free time in early June.  Can anyone who took pictures please forward them to me.  I will try to get something on Facebook also.

Could someone compile the pictures?  I'd like to share them with the people who donated, and of course the people who worked.  I'd also like to share it with the Menards Donation Committee.  I know we probably don't need the donation, but maybe it'll free us up to give to other projects...
