Hi AFH MSP members,

We are proud to report that we have now completed Phase II of the Homeless Locker Project at the Family Place – see attached photos of the STRONG lockers! Thanks goes to all of you that worked so hard on this and especially to Mike Ellis and Kelsey Kilen for coordinating the project.

Important announcement: The AFH Chapter Network is now in place and AFH MSP is receiving additional support from AFH by joining the network. Over the next few weeks we will be switching over to the Chapter webpage as our method of communication instead of Google Groups. AFH MSP does not want to lose your support so please go to the site and officially join our Chapter as either a Supporter (no fee) or Member ($25 tax-deductible donation to AFH) to continue to receive meeting announcements, project info, etc.

Next meeting:

June 21

Nomad World Pub patio (summer location), 501 Cedar Ave, Mpls

5:30-6:00 (gather)

6:00-7:00 Agenda:

1. Celebrate successful completion of the Homeless Locker Storage Project (everyone).
2. Hope Integrated Academy - update and fundraising (Greg).
3. Educational Opportunities for Somaliland Public Library (Jeffrey).
4. Haiti recovery - connecting with U of M (everyone).
5. New business (everyone).
