Hi,

Our next meetup will be a case-study from a local business:

Topic: Infrastructure (current and planned) at Yuppiechef

Date: Monday, August 30th

Time: 18:30

Deon Moolman will be presenting on the infrastructure they use at http://www.yuppiechef.co.za/, and their plans for the future. Yuppiechef is an interesting case in that they sell physical goods: their scaling considerations are different from 'scaling to 10 million users' in that they need to architect a solution that they can rapidly and reliably grow as they expand their physical footprint.

The beer will be very kindly sponsored by ThoughtExpress - shake Richard Spier's hand if you see him. Stragglers will head to dinner afterwards.

By which I mean "a week from today, July 30th". I swear I double-checked that mail twice (I'm not sure if that means I triple-checked or quadruple-checked).
