Hi,

We were not sure last night if linkedin has events. Just checked and can confirm it has events and polls.

Not sure if they are applications that need to be installed though. Look on the menu under More/Get More Applications.

So between google, FB and linkedin we have options. FB is blocked at my work, so personally I prefer google or linkedin for discussion forums.

Regards,
Charl Brink

Facebook being blocked for some people is indeed a problem, but I
think linkedin has less of a userbase (or, active userbase), so that
might be limiting too. I think we must just guarantee that any
activity that happens anywhere else gets mirrored on this mailing list
(to which everybody has access).

Cheers,

If you enable email notifications [1], you can interact with the
Facebook group entirely via email. You do need a Facebook account
though.
