Hi,

I'm happy to announce another meetup:

Topic: Load Balancing a Billion
Date: Monday, April 14th
Time: 18:00

Neil Blakey-Milner from Facebook will be discussing the technologies and methods used to route and balance the traffic from over a billion people using the site. The talk will focus on Facebook’s DNS load balancer and software load balancer, and how we use these systems to improve performance, manage capacity, and increase reliability.

Full abstract and (free) registration for catering purposes at http://www.eventbrite.com/e/load-balancing-a-billion-tickets-11081582311

Beer and pizza will be served - please sign up on the above link so we know how much to bring!

The talk won't start at 18:00 sharp, there will be pizza, beer and conversation beforehand, so don't worry too much about traffic.

Hope to see you there!
Cheers,
-Jonathan

(And after watching this talk, you'll never need to worry too much about traffic again!)
