Just to put some (not great) answers out....
(*) This group has somewhat quiesced over the last few years--these messages are the most traffic we've had in quite a while. I was actually on the fence about shutting the group down entirely, so... you may not get much more activity than what we're seeing.
(*) I've run workshops at conferences, but never set something up remotely. Wouldn't mind running one, but don't have the bandwidth to set up and advertise and all that. If someone wants to take the lead on setting something up, I'd be happy to facilitate. Heck, if there was sufficient interest for an "online Architect Users Group" we could talk about that, too--I just have zero bandwidth for the logistics.
(*) If you're looking to participate and "paid" is an option (as opposed to "free"), you might check out some of Neal Ford's/Mark Richards' OReilly offerings. They make use of katas in their architecture training, but I don't think they host "just" a round of katas.
(*) If you're from a company that is looking for something private (and paid), I'm always available to come out and do something in-person.
Probably not the news people wanted to hear...
