Dear Students,

I finally managed receiving confirmation from the jury members for 27th & 28th April 2019, the most preferred dates from your side.

This is the final seminar and hence you are required to submit three copies of the report. Also you are required to submit soft copies of the final set of drawings [+pictures of the physical model/s] as well as the report.

Regarding the sequence of presentations, as I understand we usually have it roll number wise for the final seminar. However, am in the process of discussing with the department what best we could do for this time considering the fact that you requested to continue with the sequence system we have been following for past seminars. I will update you as soon as I know.

Also, we usually follow the system of prior submission of drawings/model/report etc, prior to the jury date i.e. If not 3 days earlier, it will have to be a day before atleast. We could keep it on the evening of 26th such that you get the maximum possible time.

On both of the above points, I will get back to you soonest. Rest assured, we will be making decisions in your best interest.

Following is the list of the expected drawings for this final seminar [apart from detailed physical model/s and report]:

a.     Final design including site plan/layout, plan elevations, sections perspectives, 3D views etc.

b.     Working drawing of selected portion of the building and at least two architectural details of importance.

c.     Structural design with calculation and drawing of a selected portion of the building

d.     Cost analysis of the selected portion of the project

e.     Elaboration of any one issue of the project as an advanced objective

·        Water supply/sanitation and rain water drainage

·        Electricity and artificial illumination

·        Air conditioning and ventilation

·        Landscape design

·        Interior design

Each student will have 15 minutes for presentation.

All the very best for the last presentation as Bachelors students! Enjoy!

Tina
