9 August Open Meeting -- Archipelago Working Group

Hi All,

Our next Open Archipelago Working Group Meeting is scheduled for this coming Wednesday,  August 9, 2023, at 10am EST.

At this time our agenda items include:

• A brief overview of the MIT Libraries repository roadmap process. What are the kinds of issues under consideration as a large research library looks at options for its next repository platform (or platforms)? More generally, what’s involved when thinking about migrating to a new and rapidly evolving platform, such as Archipelago.
• Archipelago at the 2023 IIIF Annual Meeting in June. Diego and Allison will give an update as well as any other recent Archipelago news.
• Archipelago in the Wild. Martha Tenney will give a demo and overview of the Barnard College Digital Collections site, https://digitalcollections.barnard.edu.

As an open working group meeting all are welcome to attend and learn more about Archipelago; we also invite you to suggest topics for future discussion.  We look forward to seeing you then.
