Hello Archipelago Community,
Hope you all had a great summer and are having a lovely autumn so far!
It’s been a bit quiet on this group forum for most of 2022, but this has been a year of amazing growth and project development for Archipelago, METRO’s Digital Services Team, and our awesome collaborators and partners. Moving forward, we are hoping to drop off and receive more updates and notes here, on this group forum, from all our varied fronts on a regular basis. Please always feel free to post about your/your institution’s projects or plans, and ask questions or raise use cases anytime.
In general, much of our collective engagement and daily interactions happen over on the Archipelago Slack. For a reference of the happenings, sharing key highlights from Archipelago Slack statistics from January 1, 2022 - September 19, 2022:
- 25 new members added; 92 total members
- Total messages posted: 47,189
- Split between Public, Private (METRO team and project partners/groups) and 1:1 DMs
- Files uploaded (screenshots, documents, etc.): 573
- Average number of members posting messages
- Daily: 5-6
- Weekly: 15-16
