Rahul, I have cc this e-mail to 93-94 archi group. This group was created by JP and he is the manager (having rights to add/remove e-mail ids).

Infact I have been talking about such an event for a long long time to most of us in this group, recently to Jha....... let's make it happen now.

 

It is an excellent initiative to relive the past. Logistics have to be taken care of but we can all make it easy if we are willing.

Dear all,

The other day I was chatting with Gaurav and it was 2nd of February. 14 years back on that same date we shifted our focus and ourselves to a place which was the venue for NASA annual convention in 1996. We people from the 5 batches that hosted the event share a lot of memories from that time. Next year would be 15 years of that successful event. Those joys, those happy moments, that camaraderie, those efforts, and the fun of 'Mayawati calling' has to be relived again.

So the other day I thought why not assemble again on those same dates at the same place and enjoy those happy moments once again. Of course this time with our spouse/s or girlfriend/boyfriend and kid/s.

It may be too early to talk about this now as there is almost one year remaining. This is for those people who plan too ahead and those who are staying abroad.

Let's call this tentatively 'Ergon revisited'. We shall plan all the things in due course of time.

By the way I don't have email ID of all the people. I somehow managed to get hold of 91 emails of 85 persons (some have 2), and not sure if they are not bouncing. So I'm posting this only to the available ones. The first thing we need to do is collect the email, phone no etc of all those who are not in touch.

Also please advice how do we coordinate this communication. Some options are yahoo/google groups and facebook. Give your suggestions. For me yahoo group suits best but we would go by popular liking.

If we are OK with this plan we'd go ahead.

Hi All,

 

This is really great. I was planning to visit India with my family in Jan 2011. But I will postpone my vacation to make it to this event. I was talking to Gaurav regarding this but thanks Rahul for taking this initiative.

                                                                    I guess this will be once in the lifetime opportunity to see and meet everyone with their family. I hope all the hotels aren't booked that day. I know it is almost like a year left, but can we draft some schedule so that people can arrange their vacation and time to make it to this event.

Long story short I am in with my family.
