Stage 4 Submission & jury
SDCA THESIS
Dear All,
This is to inform all Students and Guides, that Thesis Review- stage 4 has been rescheduled due to unsatisfactory performance of students. Revised and updated sheets with block model submission is on 13th October 2018. Submissions will be taken between 10.00 am to 11:00 am at faculty room G8.
Students who have not given previous reviews, this is last opportunity for them to come with deliverables required for all previous reviews along with this one in order to avoid detention from final jury. 50% marks will be counted for previous stages.
All guides will kindly check and sign all sheets as per list of deliverables.
List of Deliverables for Stage 4 Jury
(These sheets will have to be submitted in the following order after getting approved and signed by respective thesis guides. Submission will not be accepted without signature/ approval of Guides.)
1. Site plan with Landscape details (Adjacent site and buildings shown, positioning of the building in relation to access road)
2. Building plans at various levels
3. At least two Elevations
4. At Least Two Sections
5. Block Model.
6. Views
7. Structural systems-Grid Plan
8. Water Supply, Sewerage Disposal layout.
Note:
It has been observe that student’s attendance in Professional Practice and Elective is very low and many of did not appear in the first sessional examination. Start attending these class on regular basis to maintain 75% attendance.
As per the prescribed AKTU norms His /Her attendance if found short of the minimum (75%) prescribed by University, then he/she may not be allowed to appear for the examination. In this regard your attention is invited towards University ordinance in which monthly attendance is uploaded on the university portal. Each student is normally required to attend 100% lectures, tutorials and the studio classes in every subject. However, for each subject a minimum attendance of 75% will be necessary. As per AKTU Norms, Minimum 50% marks in each subject in sessional & 45% marks in each theory subject are required for qualifying the examination.
