Visit to IASA Hyd Chapter meet

Hi guys,

Today i attended the IASA(Internation Association of Software
Architects) Hyderabad chapter meet. I have met Sudhakar as well there.
By any chance did anyone else from here as well attend, either in Hyd
or in any other city or country?


This meet was pretty good and we infact had a discussion about Special
Interest group(SIG) and are also thinking of integrating this group
with IASA as a SIG for aspiring architects.

Shankar Khambamparthy (IASA hyd chapter leader), Sudhakar(our buddy in
this forum), myself and few more were there when we discussed this.

What do you guys think about integrating this group as SIG with IASA?


Todays meet was for around 4 hours. Pratik from Brainwave solution
gave a session on Database Intelligence Systems for Enterprises. This
was a pretty geeky session
He also demo'd the product from Brainwave which works on the concept
of storing Meme's(search the web for meme) in the database. The demo
was cool, but still the database design behind the product remained a
suspence. Probably he is not supposed to be revealing everything about
the product.

The other session was on Web 2.0 for enterprises by Ramesh Loganathan
from Pramati.During this session we had a long interesting discussion
around developing desktop web servers(bring web apps into desktop).

Do share if you have any more info any anything happening on
Architecture around the globe.

That is pretty interesting. I missed on this one even though I had bandwidth to attend. Do we have any calendar where we know when meets like this happen?

Hi Uday,

As of now IASA doen't not have a calender. But they said in January
they are going to come up with an event calender for next six months.

Yes this was one of the good meetups i happnd to attend( saf summit
was the other one).
I hope iasa wil be doing great in next year as per discussions.
