Hi All,

Now that i see more members joining this place, let's now starting
knowing each other.

Please introduce yourselves in this thread. You can talk about your
work, where do you stay, what you intend to do in this group, your
blogs etc.

Let me start first...

I am Anjana , working for Satyam Computer Services,Hyderabad, India,
as a Microsoft Solutions Specialist. As a part of my role i am involved
in Technology consultancy and solutions architecting for Satyam
Microsoft joint solutions.
I am also a Microsoft MVP and one of the managers of Microsoft User
Group Hyderabad.

I think the best way to grow as an architect is by reading a lot, by
seeing and critical analysis of more number of application and by
'DISCUSSING' things with peers.

This is the reason for me to start this group, where people can
share, discuss, debate over architectures which would definetly
contribute to there thought process.

i look forward to be active here and make this a vibrant place.

That's it for now...

Who's turn is next?

Regards,
Anjana

Hi Guys,

My name is Sudhakar. I have around 8 years of IT experience, most of it is around designing and architecting applications for web and desktop. I love software very much. Be it a small Tray Tool or an enterprise CRM system. I have a passion for knowing the architecture behind any software system.

For me, Software Architecture looks like \Blue Jeans. Never gets out of fashion :-)

I am more interested to discuss, debate and learn from architects around the world. I believe technology sounds like a second to a robust architectural blue print for any architect. Hence I try to be Technology neutral as much as possible, (you know..its very tough)...

Apart from the building software, I do lot of hobby blogging @ savvybytes.com and photo blogging @ visualode.org

Feeling great to be a part of this group....

Thanks
Sudhakar

Myself...

I am Tameem (me and others prefer to call me Teucer - my online handle) ... I have worked in a variety and mix of applications and I still write code for a living & fun.

Dont think I would like to speak more about thyself as most of you know me already :). I love food and travel along with software (its ofcourse difficult to prioritize among the three).

I am a "late" blogger and the remains can be found at http://geekswithblogs.net/ansari and I like to be technology neutral except when the topic involves C.

Looks like we have all big-guns here :)

Well... I maybe the youngest of the group (that's just a nice way to say "guy with the least amount of experience"!)

I started programming at the age of 17 when I entered my engineering graduation back in year 2001. Beginning with C and C++ (on an OS that most of us used to love - UNIX), I went onto Microsoft Technologies (primarily VC++ and .NET). While I was a student, I owned a small company that sold network security tools (had to close down the company because of frequent examinations). After my graduation, I worked with a mix of (very) small and large corporations for around 2 years before coming to Microsoft.

As for passions, I have many.. here are a few of them

  • I love writing code. And I love reading it too.
  • I love riding my bike and taking it to crazy speeds on curved roads ;)
  • make a lot of friends (specially those who talk technology)
