I'm e-mailing you because you've subscribed to the Business of Software newsletter.

 

First of all, apologies if you've not received the eChapter from Jessica Livingston's book. There was a misunderstanding between Jessica and the publisher. Apress are working hard to resolve this and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to put an eChapter up soon.

 

There is good news though. Phil Factor over at Simple-Talk has kindly agreed to let me distribute an electronic copy of his entire book to Business of Software subscribers. The Phrenetic Phoughts of Phil Factor is a collection of some of the many stories and anecdotes that Phil has collected and polished over his decades in the business of software. It's entertaining, but covers serious topics such as how to learn to love your manager and how recruitment agencies operate.
