animating routes along polylines using turf

I've been investigating several use cases where animating routes (e.g. festivals, parades, migration) would be useful in Arches. Has anyone done any work on using the Turf Mapbox plugin (https://docs.mapbox.com/mapbox-gl-js/example/animate-point-along-route/) to do this? Curious if others have investigated this before I go further down the rabbit hole.
