Hello All,

We are trying to install grid-appliance on ubuntu 9.10 (on the
physical machine and not on a VM). The problem is whenever we start
the grid appliance, the network connectivity is lost. We have
"resolvconf" installed on this machine. The grid-appliance changes the
contents of /etc/resolv.conf file and the connectivity to outside
world is lost. Has anyone of you seen this problem before? Appreciate
your help.

Here is how we are installing grid appliance

1. echo "deb http://www.grid-appliance.org/files/packages/deb/ karmic
contrib" >> /etc/apt/sources.list
2. wget http://www.grid-appliance.org/files/packages/deb/repo.key
3. apt-key add repo.key
4. apt-get update
5. apt-get install grid-appliance-base
6. apt-get install grid-appliance-nfs
7. apt-get install grid-appliance-autofs
8. apt-get install grid-appliance-ssh
9. apt-get install grid-appliance-public-pool

As soon as we reach this point, the network connectivity is lost. Your
help will be highly appreciated. Let me know if any further
information is needed.

Thanks a lot
Faisal
