Extract colored trees in Archaeoptreyx

Hello,

I am working on Archaeoptreyx, my question is basically related to the use of the applet.

I have colored sub-trees and wanted to extract this section based upon the color. 

Is there any way of extracting the colored trees? For Eg: If I color a particular branch using magenta, can I extract the node information of the part colored in magenta.

Also, could you also suggest a good tutorial for using Archaeoptreyx.
