how to execute Archaeopteryx

I have downloaded the forester_1019.jar in my desktop which contains
Win7 system. I faild to open the app by Java (TM) Platform SE binary.
But in another computer that contains WindowsXP system I can use the
app smoothly by the same way. Is there something wrong in my
procedure?

How did you try to launch it?

Via command line, or by clicking on the .jar file?
