Simply go to:
Terrain tab> Vegetation> Double click the "Objects" folder to expand on which trees you have in the project> pick the appropriate object> scroll down the and turn "UseSprites" Off (in which cases, the box should be unticked..). Additionally, set "MaxViewDistRatio" to 255...
