Do we need to make animations ?

if yes..

how to use FRAPS to create animations for EXP3? is there any tutorial?

Not required, I think. If you want to, you can just use "Avi Recorder" function within Cryengine, go to Display-Avi Recorder, then the Recorder toolbar should appear.

Hi Richard,

No, animations aren't required.

But to do them all you need to do is choose the Movies option in Fraps and use the settings I have below:

The video capture hot key starts recording ... and you'll see the framerate number on the top left go red ... and hit it again to stop recording. 15 fames per second is fine. I have experienced more crashes when recording at Half-size ... so I'd recommend full size.

Then you can edit the footage (in iMovie or Windows Movie Maker for example ... I use Sony Vegas), or simply upload it to YouTube.
